Leads are Individual records not tied to a Company record. Leads can be converted into Contacts

Step 1

Lead Information captured: Name, Company, Title, Department, Email, Phone, Alternate Phone, Address, Lead Source, Created Date, Last Disposition and Last Contacted Date



Step 2

Convert a Lead into a Contact by selecting Convert Lead



Step 3

Select an existing Company name or create a new Company

Contacts

Contacts are tied to a Company record and can be associated with an opportunity

Step 1

Contact information captured includes the same information for a Lead with the added Opportunity information, Company record and similar Contacts



Step 2

There is a time stamp for when the Contact was converted from a Lead



Companies

Company records include Contacts and can have associated Opportunities

Company information captured includes the Company Name, Company Phone, Physical Address, Customer check box, Contacts and Opportunities
